Your donations are vital to restoring and preserving St Patrick’s Church for future generations. There are several easy ways to give:
1. Standing Order
A regular gift by standing order helps us plan ahead with confidence.
-
- Download the Standing Order and Gift Aid form here:
You can choose one of two ways to set up your standing order:
-
- Complete and return the full form to the church. We will then process the standing order and Gift Aid declaration for you.
- Set up your own standing order online using your bank’s website or app. The necessary account details are on the downloaded form.
If you use online banking, please still return a signed hardcopy of the Gift Aid Declaration if you are eligible to do so. This allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate — at no extra cost to you.
Please inform the parish treasurer if you would like all or part of your standing order to be allocated to the restoration project. If we are not advised otherwise, your gift will be allocated to general parish funds.
2. Online Donation
Make a one-off or regular donation online using our secure platform:
You can also make a Gift Aid Declaration online when you donate.
You can choose to allocate your donation to the restoration project, general parish funds, or another specific fund at the time of donating.
3. Debit or Credit Card
Card readers are available near the entrances to the church.
These accept contactless or chip & pin donations.
Gift Aid declarations can be made when using these machines.
You may also choose to allocate your donation to the restoration, general funds, or another specific purpose when donating.
4. Offertory Cash Donations
Cash can be placed in the offertory boxes at weekend Masses.
If you would like us to claim Gift Aid on your cash donation, please use a Gift Aid envelope, available on the table as you enter the church.
5. Gift Aid: Make Your Gift Go Further
Over half of our income comes through Gift Aid — a vital part of our fundraising.
By signing a Gift Aid Declaration, we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate — at no cost to you.
Gift Aid can apply to:
-
- Standing Orders
- Online donations
- Card payments
- Cash gifts (if placed in a completed Gift Aid envelope)
