This year’s Rite of Election took place in the Cathedral at 11am on Saturday 8 March. On this first Saturday of Lent, as at the start of every Lent, our diocesan family gathered at the cathedral together with our bishop to celebrate the Rite of Election, where those who are journeying towards becoming part of our Catholic community were presented to Bishop Bosco.
We congratulate 4 members (left to right in the image above: Philip Shepherd, Josh Kuzyk, Megan Parker and Scott Dickie) from our parish communion who are taking this journey in faith and ask you to remember them in your prayers as they go towards reception of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at our Easter Vigil.
