On the first Saturday of Lent, as at the start of every Lent, the diocesan family gathered at the cathedral together with Bishop Declan to celebrate the Rite of Election, where those who are journeying towards becoming part of our Catholic community are presented to the Bishop.
Rhia and Summer are preparing to be baptised at the Easter Vigil, confirmed, and receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time. Sam is preparing to be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church through Confirmation and First Eucharist.
